Chili Dip

Ingredients

½ pound ground beef or turkey

½ bell pepper diced

1 jalapeno diced

½ onion diced

2 tsp garlic powder

1 T chili powder

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Salt/Pepper to taste

1 cup black beans (drained)

1 cup cheddar cheese

4-6 mini sweet bell peppers

Instructions

Brown ground meat, remove from pan and set aside. Using the oil in the pan, add the peppers, and onions.  Cook until soft.  Drain the black beans, remove half, and use a potato masher add both halves to onion mixture along with the browned meat, seasonings, and half of the cheese.  Stir to combine.  Reduce heat to low, top mixture with remaining cheddar cheese. Cover until cheese is melted.  Meanwhile, wash and cut mini peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.  Place dip in bowl and enjoy with mini peppers.
