Asian Duck Sauce

Ingredients:

1 small can peach

1 small can apricots

2 T crushed pineapples

1 T orange juice

1 T orange zest

¾ c apple sauce (sugar free)

½ tsp paprika

1 T sweetener (if needed)

1 tsp red chili flakes

½ tsp Chinese 5-spice

Directions:

Drain peaches and apricots.  Place all ingredients into a medium saucepan.  Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and allow to cook 10-15 to reduce liquid and thicken.  Stir occasionally.  Once liquid is reduced, remove from heat.  Place cooled sauce in blender or use and immersion blender to smooth sauce.  Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
