Applesauce

Ingredients:

2 apples

1 T cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

Pinch of cloves (1/8 tsp)

Pinch of salt (1/8 tsp)

2 T brown sugar sweetener

1/3 c water

1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

Peel and chop apples. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and cook over low heat until apples are soft.  Use and immersion or standard blender to blend until smooth. Makes 2 servings.

Use the same recipe but replace the spice with 1 T pumpkin spice or chai spice.
